Hello!

Sandy Fritz is a FUN Art Artist.  Being A FUN Art artist allows me to play and express myself in any medium that speaks to me at the time.  I use a variety of mixed media including alcohol inks, watercolor, textures, papers, graffiti, acrylic and oil paints, charcoal, metals and anything that adds the FUN flair my artwork needs. The multi-step process used in creating my art is what shows up on the canvas full of life and movement.  Being a self-taught FUN artist I enjoy participating in classes from other artists.  Learning new things is vital to staying inspired.

"My art is whimsey much like myself. I love to laugh. My art expresses how I view the world, full of life, color and emotion. My art exhibits that it is the smaller things that become a bigger image, which in turn makes the world go ‘round. ENJOY!

My artwork has been honored with awards along the way.  Gilbert Visual Art League awarded my mixed media piece “Orbit” with 2nd place for mixed media 2010. City of Greeley, CO awarded “Holy Cow” with the purchase of this piece to be part of their art in public places in 2013.   Lincoln Gallery Sweetheart Show in Loveland, CO awarded my art 2nd place for mixed media in 2014 for “Love Notes” and has been actively teaching classes while traveling the US.

Myself and my husband, Randy, along and our dog Bandit are from CO but were fulltime RVers for almost 7 years. We loved traveling around the country meeting new people in new places. My FUN Art studio was small but mighty and I loved bringing art to people who think they can’t....We are now settled in the Sonoran Desert at the base of the Superstition Mountains in Gold Canyon, AZ. I have a great home studio and continue to create FUN Art both traditionally and now digitally. I really enjoy both mediums and look forward to new opportunities.

On a side note: I am a nationally certified American Sign Language Interpreter and will welcome using this beautiful language in any of my classes.
